One Nation
The choir consists of 24 singers from southern Sweden. With a focus on joy, interaction and participation, with one foot in the African American and the other in the Swedish choral tradition, the choir is constantly looking for new ways to encourage and challenge its listeners through a frank but hopeful message.
The choir has had the privilege of working with both Swedish and international guests such as Isaac Cates, Laila Adéle, Joshua Nelson and Mahalia Jackson’s own pianist Eddie Robinson, and has been involved in projects like “African Beat”, “Chamber Gospel” and most recently “Break the Silence” about the importance of music for young people’s mental and existential health.
